Evolving approach
to agricultural innovations

Agricultural production system characterized by the high inputs of spunbond fabric applications. These materials provide a small but significant amount of protection from cold or windy weather, and also often very effectively exclude pests.

Originally thin, light, transparent polythene sheets (perforated to allow excess heat and humidity to escape) were used  but issues with over-heating and lack of insulation at night has led largely to its replacement by a non-woven (technically called spun bonded) polypropylene ‘fleece’, sometimes referred to as horticultural fleece.

Innogryl Mulch fabrics having high Water, Light and Air permeability to help the long term plants to grow fastly. It will control weeds and keep the plant, farms and gardens neat and clean.

Water and air permeability control the soil temperature and Quality. It helps to reduce the maintenance times.

Agriculture industry use spunbond fabrics for crop production, the fabric has specialized UV absorbers/ stabilizers incorporated in it which ensures protection and sunrays. It is also used in manufacturing soil cover film, non-woven fruit protection bags etc.

Macro tunnels are used to cover many beds in a single cover with space for farm workers to access the plants. These create the same climate conditions as micro tunnels.
Typically suited to use in warmer climates, larger macro tunnels use nonwoven materials across wooden or metal frames. Sizes up to 10 m wide enable substantial tunnels to be created as enclosures for shade or as a chemical-free method of reducing virus vectors such as insects. Larger structures benefit from additional toughness and strength and frequently a 19 gsm product is selected by farmers who value the additional 26% strength and increased shade of heavier weight material.

The excellent weldability of Innogryl products enables a unique protection solution for certain stem crops, encapsulating fruit during growth, whilst leaving the majority of the plant uncovered.
Physically the same as all Innogryl products, bags offer light transmission, permeability and the creation of a micro-climate to accelerate growth. Physically converted into tubular structures enables the farmer to selectivly protect only the fruiting areas, whilst leaving the plant open. The bags can protect plant buds, be removed for polination during flowering and then re-applied to protect growing fruit.
